Train Your Brain
Good Day,
In this week's edition of Notes from the Coach, we're diving into a fascinating topic: training our brains. It's a question we've all asked ourselves - how can we train our brains to better serve our personal development goals?
Life is full of routines. We follow patterns week after week, and sometimes, we feel the need for change. Perhaps we want to let go of an old belief system, focus on our health, or completely reinvent our lives. These changes, while beneficial, can seem daunting. So, how do we go about implementing them?
The answer lies in training our brains. This isn't a battle between your mind and your desire for change. Instead, it's a negotiation. It's about letting go of old patterns and replacing them with new ones.
Developing a new habit takes about 5 to 7 days. During this period, it might be challenging. But remember, discipline is doing what you dislike as if you love it. Even if you don't feel like engaging in a new activity, push yourself to do it on the days you've committed to.
After a week, you might find yourself looking forward to this new part of your routine. It becomes a new pattern, a new way of thinking and acting. When we think and act differently, we create different outcomes.
Change is possible. We can alter our perspectives and actions at any point in life. It's just a matter of doing it. Train your brain, think differently, act differently, and watch as your life transforms.
For those interested in diving deeper into this topic, we've released a new podcast episode titled "Train Your Brain" under the " I Never Thought I'd Be Here" podcast. It's available on Spotify and Kajabi for your convenience.
Enjoy your day, your week, and as always, enjoy the journey of training your brain, one day at a time.
Best,
